On March 26, Wang Kai, secretary of the CPC Yulin Municipal Committee, led a delegation to Yuchai to find out its production operation and resolve problems for Yuchai's development. Corporate leaders like Yan Ping, Gu Tangsheng and Wu Qiwei received the visitors.

The survey focused on advancing the construction of Yuchai Industrial New City in an accelerated manner and resolving problems such as project land and infrastructural construction for Yuchai's "second startup".

After hearing work reports by relevant functional departments of Yuchai and Yulin, Wang fixed the problems troubling Yuchai and studied how to resolve them. The problem of civil housing demolition involved in Yuchai's foundry center project should not be delayed any longer, the traffic in the area where Yuchai is located should be planned overall, and time should not be lost in advancing industrial new city construction, he stressed.

Wang required that Yuchai should work hard to find a proper fulcrum and penetrating point to lever industrial new city construction. Also, he required that Yuchai should carefully study and grasp macroeconomic situation and the market trend of the industry, increase market share, consolidate the lead and grow steadily through measures such as technical innovation and management innovation.

Wang offered guiding opinions on the Party's mass-oriented education practice carried out by Yuchai, requiring that Yuchai's Party members and cadres should make great efforts on pragmatism and incorruptibleness, enhance pragmatism and incorruptibleness through the practice, and increase combat effectiveness to inject strong impetus into Yuchai's "second startup".
