1st batch of YC6L electronically-controlled common-rail marine engines praised by customer

The YC6L common-rail marine engine project team has recently headed for the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration (SHMSA) to visit the customer of the first batch of YC6L electronically-controlled common-rail engines powering official boats. The customer praised Y6CL common-rail engines in use.

To fully meet customer demand, the key account manager of the Marine Department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and the electronic control technologists of Yuchai R & D Center visited the customer. The key account manager recommended Yuchai's new products and technologies to the customer, the project manager trained the customer in engine knowledge, and the electronic control technologists trained the customer in the control principle, electronic control component maintenance, electronic control failure diagnosis and elimination, etc.

Following the training, SHMSA's leaders said they previously used imported engines with mechanical pumps, but imported engines have problems of high difficulty in parts replacement and long repair period which seriously affected their daily use. They just trial-installed 5 YC6L electronically-controlled common-rail marine engines in small volume, and never thought they would have such strong performance and are not inferior to imported engines at all. Not only do Yuchai's electronically-controlled common-rail engines perform strongly, they also have better acceleration performance, consume less fuel and produce no smoke compared to previous engines with mechanical pumps.
