On June 5, the 9th International CSR Forum organized by China WTO Tribune, Sino-German Corporate Social Responsibility Project, CSR Europe, the Council for Better Corporate Citizenship (CBCC) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) took place in Beijing. As the new initiator of GoldenBee 2020/Enterprise 2020, Yuchai Group released Low Carbon-Green Intelligent Manufacturing, a project about "green intelligent manufacturing" in the issue of low carbon under the "GoldenBee 2020 Social Responsibility Initiative". The "GoldenBee 2020 Social Responsibility Initiative" is the first systematic CSR action program with rich connotation and great ideal in China. Since the initiative was released in June 2011, 11 renowned enterprises including State Grid Corporation of China, China Southern Power Grid, Intel, Eaton, DuPont and Liugong have initiated 11 CSR issues. After three years' development, "GoldenBee 2020" has become a major platform for dissemination, practice and popularization of the CSR concept in China, and is leading China's CSR practice to a more systematic, in-depth and efficient new stage. As the commitment and declaration of China's CSR to the world, the "GoldenBee 2020 Social Responsibility Initiative" is contributing to the sustainable development of humankind together with the "Enterprise 2020 Initiative".

The overall objective of the project of Low Carbon-Green Intelligent Manufacturing under the "GoldenBee 2020 Social Responsibility Initiative" is "green power, green intelligent manufacturing". Concretely, the project involves making engines' environmental indicators up to or above advanced international standards, making engines' production indicators up to standards, developing and launching new energy engines such as national V products or plug-in hybrid engines, successfully developing and manufacturing Europe VI products, etc.

To achieve the objective, Yuchai Group will uphold the core values of "Green Development & Harmony Win-win", focus on building a green value system, conduct business operation responsibly in full process via the implementation platform of the green value chain model, and value life, resource and link management, thus building green Yuchai, creating green value and accomplishing sustainable development.

At the "Global 2020 Action" Parallel Forum on June 6, He Xiaoyu, deputy director of the Party Committee Work Department of Yuchai Group, elaborated on Yuchai's original purpose of participating in the "GoldenBee 2020 Social Responsibility Initiative" from three drives (external drive, internal drive and values drive), and introduced Yuchai's concept of sustainable development and the progress and effects of the concept.
