Another piece of news has recently come for Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) after the new products rolled offline in early June. YHI has won the bid for 38 units of flood control and drought relief equipment from the Water Resources Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GXWRD). On the afternoon of June 23, 38 excavators were dispatched from Yulin to the forefront of flood control and drought relief.

On the afternoon of the day, with colored flags around, in the deafening sound of gongs and drums, dozens of exactor-loaded trucks were ready to depart.

The 38 units of "drought relief equipment" purchased by GXWRD include 11 mini excavators and 27 medium excavators which will primarily be used in Guangxi's drought relief and flood control. After an open and fair bidding, YHI won by quality products and services. The excavators involved are YC135-8 mini crawler hydraulic excavator and YC230LC-8 medium crawler hydraulic excavator. Both YHI's key products, they are more efficient with YHI's independent mature hydraulic technologies such as negative flow control, confluent control, priority control of booms, priority control of rotation and linear walking valve. The successful bidding has boosted the morale and marketing combativeness of YHI's team.

At the departure ceremony, Li Hongbao, secretary-general of the China Construction Machinery Association Excavating Machinery Branch, congratulated YHI on the successful bidding. He said water conservancy construction vital to the national economy and the people's livelihood is critical of the quality and service of purchased equipment, YHI's winning the bid for all 38 excavators shows that its brand, product quality and after-sales service have been highly recognized by customers at all levels including government departments such as GXWRD. At a deeper level, this also shows that YHI's operation system is highly resistant to risks and sustainable.

At the end of the ceremony, in the solemn music and the sound of salute, Zhang Shiyong and Xu Liang of YHI's distributor Guangxi Jiali Machinery Company Limited delivered the "golden key" representing the project equipment to GXWRD, and the 38 excavators were dispatched.

The successful bidding will play an exemplary role in future market development, Zhang said, adding that YHI is expected to gain a larger market share by its outstanding products and services.
