Upon review by relevant departments such as the Organization Department of the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee and experts, General Manager Liang Heping and General Manager Assistant Chen Yiyun and Wang Yumao of Yuchai Y&C Engine Co., Ltd. (Y&C Engine) have recently been included in Wuhu's 2013 "1,000 Talents Program" for industrial revitalization.

According to sources, to implement the Opinion on Vigorously Advancing Entrepreneurship to Enrich People and the strategy of prospering the city by talents, build an innovative city of Wuhu, introduce and retain innovative talents, the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee organized a selection of experts for the "1,000 Talents Program" for industrial revitalization among Wuhu's enterprises. The selection requires that all entrants must have independently developed new products, technologies or processes, play a key role in development teams and have made remarkable contributions to companies' cost reduction, efficiency increase, energy conservation and emission reduction. All experts included in the program will get certain reward and enjoy policy support for innovation and entrepreneurship.

According to the evaluation measures, since March 2014, Y&C Engine has carefully studied project application documents, elaborately organized application materials based on the key content of projects, conducted follow-up and coordination after project application, initiatively communicated with the review departments such as the science and technology bureau and the talent office, promoted the enterprise and duly completed the selection application for the three staff members.

Besides, Wang Yumao was listed among "2014 Anhui's Technical Leaders in Emerging Strategic Industries".
