On July 7, the completion conference of the 1st service training for PT. Semeru Teknik (ST), Yuchai's marine engine dealer in Indonesia, was held at Yuchai Customer Service Center. Present were leaders including Ning Xingyong, Party secretary of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (Yuchai Machinery) and Tang Zuoxing, general manager of the Marine Engine Department of Yuchai Machinery.

Wen Tianmeng, chairman of BB Group, led 24 technical and sales persons for the seven-day technical service training organized by Yuchai. The training focused on the product spectrum of Yuchai's marine engine sector, matching standards and breakdown maintenance. At the completion conference, Yuchai also introduced the standards of making dealers' monthly reports, dealers' marketing skills, successful cases of marine engine marketing, etc.

Ning issued the completion certificate to ST's trainees and presented gifts to them on behalf of Yuchai.

Guo Dongqiong, general manager of ST, appreciated the training, considered it as a new experience and said ST has acquired a full knowledge of Yuchai's products, management, sales and techniques. ST will work with Yuchai to expand the market share of Yuchai's marine engines, he added.

According to sources, to enhance training effects, the staff of Yuchai's Department of Overseas Marine Engine Marketing will lead ST's trainees to Beihai for onboard field learning, thereby intuitively finding out the requirements of engine installation.
