In red-hot July, Yuchai undergraduate practice campaign for staff children was launched. On July 18, Yuchai held the grand launch ceremony at Yuchai Culture Center. Li Tiansheng and Zhang Jiasha, deputy Party secretaries of Yuchai Group; Guan Min, general manager of the Human Resources Department and other leaders of Yuchai Group were present. Liang Ping, chairman of the Trade Union of Yuchai Group presided over the ceremony.

This years event attracted over 70 children of Yuchais staff. Yuchai continued the previously successful experience and mature mode, and held a student congress before the ceremony. Through campaign speeches, seven staff children including Wen Qian and Huang Junhao were elected to the new student union. Following the election conference, the union held the first plenary meeting.

At the ceremony, Zhang hoped the students will go deep into the grass-roots level and work hard, will fear no hardships and overcome difficulties, and will strictly observe discipline and place safety above anything else.

Subsequently, a solemn banner-presenting ceremony was held. Ji Feilin, chairman of the student union, took over the banner from Li, and made a solemn commitment on behalf of the students that he will straighten out thinking and define responsibilities; will fear no hardships, start from minor matters and work progressively; learn and consult modestly; observe discipline and conduct safe production; learn from elder generations actively, accept training, stand tests, improve capability and devote power.

In the practice, Yuchai will organize staff children for pre-job training, plant visit, job practice as well as a series of cultural and sports activities to make them keenly feel Yuchais culture and fully prepare to step into the society more firmly.
