YHI concludes strategic agreement with Doosan Mottrol,Doosan Hydraulic

On August 25, the signing ceremony for strategic cooperation among Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI), Doosan Corporation Mottrol and Doosan Hydraulic Machinery (Jiangyin) Co., Ltd. was held at YHI's Yulin base. Chen Dejian, vice general manager of YHI, presided over the ceremony. Guests from Doosan Mottrol and Doosan Hydraulic, YHI's management team and staff representatives witnessed the significant historical moment. 

 

Ceremony scene 

In the speech, Zhang Shiyong, general manager of YHI, noted, to seek a more stable and longstanding partnership and ensure the accomplishment of YHI's long-term strategic objective, YHI commenced cooperating with Doosan Hydraulic in 2004. From 2006 to 2007, YHI equipped key models with Doosan hydraulic systems, sped up cooperation with Doosan Hydraulic in technical and service fields in 2009, and accomplished comprehensive matching in 2010. Now, YHI's key excavator models and full series of rotary drilling rigs have been equipped with Doosan hydraulic products, and gained extensive recognition in the market. Doosan Hydraulic has made a great contribution to YHI's development. The cooperation is a concrete act aimed at cementing relations between the two sides and sharpening the industrial and comprehensive competitiveness of both sides. With the common concept of creating a bright future, the two sides are believed to share the next golden decade of development of Chinese construction machinery through mutual support and with concerted efforts. Zhang expected the two sides to cement cooperation and achieve greater success in global competition. 

 

Zhang and Yun speak 

In the speech, Yun Tae Sung, president of Doosan Mottrol, said, as one of China's leading and competitive construction machinery manufacturers, YHI has made remarkable contributions to the development of China's excavator industry over the two decades, has enjoyed great popularity in the field of small excavator at home and abroad, and has made great efforts in enriching product series. Doosan Mottrol is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic parts of construction machinery in Korea, which held the foundation laying ceremony of its Chinese plant in Jiangyin in July 2011 in order to meet the ever-growing demands of the Chinese market. Doosan Mottrol is at the initial stage of business development in China, concluding a strategic agreement with YHI, one of China's leading enterprises, can boost the operation and popularity of its Chinese plant. He hoped the two sides will further expand the scope of strategic cooperation, strive to rank top in China and the world in respective fields and further cement relations. 

In thunderous applause, Zhang, Yun, and Chae Dong Hwi, executive of Doosan Mottrol and chairman of Doosan Hydraulic solemnly signed the agreement. 

  

Ceremony scene 

The agreement was reached through frequent friendly consultation, under the principles of reciprocity and mutual benefit and on the basis of full consensus. The conclusion of the agreement is aimed at further cementing cooperation in key parts of construction machinery, is a major move for YHI to build a first-class supply chain, and will lay a solid foundation for deeper cooperation. 

 

Gift exchange 

Upon establishment in 1974, Doosan got into the field of hydraulic parts then known as a "desert" in Korea, but has now developed into a professional manufacturer of all-round hydraulic manufacturing systems such as travel motors, rotary motors, main pumps and valves for construction machinery. The company has been extensively recognized for its market share and product performance, and has been growing in parallel with advanced international enterprises. Currently, Doosan Mottrol has plunged into the wind power hydraulic power industry based on its proprietary technologies accumulated over the years as well as activities of creative development and quality improvement, in an effort to become an international manufacturer and supplier of integrated parts.
