As Yuchais 60th anniversary celebration scheduled for December 18 draws near, preparations are being made in full swing. On the afternoon of November 7, accompanied by leaders of functional departments such as departments of public security, fire protection, transport and amenity rectification, Xuan Jiajun, deputy mayor of Yulin, headed to Yuchai for a survey of Yuchais preparations for its 60th anniversary celebration. Li Tiansheng and Guo Deming, deputy Party secretaries of Yuchai Group and Li Chengjie, assistant to chairman of Yuchai showed the delegation around.

The delegation surveyed relevant sites and routes such as Yuchai Stadium, and then came to the meeting room on the fourth floor of Yuchai Power Building, where Xuan presided over a work coordination meeting on Yuchais celebration and heard a report on celebration preparations. Li and Guo briefed the delegation on Yuchais preparations and relevant matters to be coordinated and handled by the municipal committee and government. The celebration is a great event in Yuchais development process. While holding a thematic celebratory conference, Yuchai will stage major conferences such as the annual marketing conference, annual supplier conference and internal combustion engine summit. Yuchai will face an arduous task of receiving more than 2,000 guests from around the country. The thematic celebratory conference and celebration gala will attract over 10,000 attendees, and need strong support from the municipal committee and government. Yuchai should not only build the celebration into a great event that showcases its corporate image and Yulins favorable amenity, but also ensure the safety and orderliness of the celebration. 

Xuan acknowledged Yuchais efforts in demonstrating its developments over the six decades, saying Yuchai belongs not only to Yulin, but also to Guangxi and China, the municipal committee and government attach great importance to the celebration, all functional departments should assist Yuchai in its preparations and offer strong support. He required a working organization consisting of the municipal government and Yuchai should be established and a corresponding work group should be organized to coordinate preparatory work; relevant work plans should be refined and perfected to ensure preparatory work is advanced in an orderly manner; departments of transport and security should demonstrate the feasibility of celebration sites in a scientific way; Yuchais celebration should be treated seriously, departments of environmental treatment and transport administration should carry out relevant work promptly within this week to advance preparatory work and ensure the success of the celebration.
