The 4th Bosch-Yuchai Summit, themed Challenge and Harvest, was held in Zhaoqing, Guangdong Province on the morning of November 8. Yan Ping, chairman of Yuchai Group and Hui Ce, general manager of Bosch Automotive Diesel Systems Co., Ltd. (BADS) were present. Chen Ningbin, deputy general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM), presided over the summit. At the summit, Yan and Hui concluded a strategic cooperative agreement on new products and technologies and a memorandum.

Wu Qiwei, general manager of YM, profoundly summarized and elaborately dissected Yuchais business development in 2012 and business idea for 2012, showing the market share and status of Yuchais several industrial sectors with detailed data. While comprehensively improving its R & D level, Yuchai is eager to further communication and cooperation with Bosch in diverse fields and reach consensuses to jointly occupy the market and accomplish win-win, Wu added.
Bosch pinned great hope for the summit and will continue to carry out in-depth exchanges with Yuchai in such aspects as corporate culture, professional technology and product concept to fully accomplish the summit theme--Challenge and Harvest, Hui said.
Yan delivers a concluding speech
At last, Yan delivered a concluding speech. Yuchai always regards Bosch as one of its most important partners, hopefully, the two sides will make frequent communication to jointly advance forward-looking technology researches and expand domestic and overseas markets, said Yan, adding he hopes Yuchais attendees will seize the opportunity and make good use of this platform to modestly learn advanced experience from Bosch, further accelerate technical innovation, step up team building, press ahead with lean manufacturing and push Yuchai to a new development stage.
The summit lasted for more than four hours. At the summit, Wang Xiaodong, deputy sales general manager of BADS; Mao Yiping, director of the Department of Customer Service of BADS; Zhong Yuwei, deputy general manager of YM and Lin Zhiqiang, assistant to general manager of YM delivered impressive speeches, too. Also, the two sides exchanged ideas in depth on relevant issues.
