The award ceremony for China 6th Annual International Energy Conservation Competition has recently taken place in Beijing. The C&C truck powered by Y&C's YC6K12 engine stood out in the 420hp 6*4 tractor category to claim the award for energy conservation. In the LNG category, the C&C truck powered by Y&C's YC6K13N gas engine garnered the award for structural optimization.
China Annual International Energy Conservation Competition is an energy conservation competition enjoying high popularity and recognition in the domestic truck market. The competition takes place in a state-accredited professional vehicle test field, and entering trucks were tested at full load in accordance with strict standards. Also, a state-accredited professional testing team is recruited to test entering trucks with precise instruments to ensure that competition results are authentic and objective.
Of the two awards won by the C&C trucks, the award for energy conservation is intended to test products' fuel economy, and the award for structural optimization is intended to test the adaptability and optimization of key parts like engine and transmission. Winning the two awards has further provided the outstanding fuel economy and strong adaptability of Yuchai's YC6K engines.
According to Deng Yehua, manager of the Product Management Department of C&C Trucks Marketing Service Co., Ltd. who followed up the competition in full process, 420hp is the main horsepower of the truck market currently, thanks to the engines' superiorities and our elaborate calibration of the products, the C&C trucks stood out of the fierce competition.
