On the afternoon of December 10, 2013, initiated by Liang Heping, general manager of Y & C Engine Co., Ltd. (Y & C Engine) and organized by Yunnan Office of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., the Product Presentation of C&C Trucks--Yunnan Yuchai Service Consortium took place at Metro Golf Garden Hotel in the Kunming National Economic & Technological Development Zone. Present were Liang Heping, general manager of Y & C Engine Co., Ltd. (Y & C Engine); Zhang Zhiguo, vice general manager of C&C Trucks Marketing Service Co., Ltd.; Huang Weifeng, director of Yunnan Office of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd.; as well as persons in charge of over 30 Yuchai's key service stations in Yunnan Province.

"Y&C Engine is a heavy-duty vehicle engine manufacturer jointly established by C&C Trucks, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Jiusi Investment Co., Ltd." The meeting opened with an introduction to the origin of Y&C Engine by Liang. According to him, now over 90 percent of C&C Trucks' vehicles are powered by Y&C Engine.

"C&C Trucks, Yuchai Machinery and Y&C Engine should support each another and develop commonly," Liang said, noting, "C&C Trucks have a lot of successful cases in changing service stations into distributors. For example, by selling C&C trucks, Yuchai service stations in areas like Zhanjiang of Guangdong, Yulin of Guangxi and Wuhan of Hubei have expanded their service operations and found a new profit growth point.

Following Liang's speech, Yang Xihan, vice manager of Yunnan Region of C&C Trucks Marketing Service Co., Ltd., elaborated on the general information, product features and advantages of C&C Trucks, the actualities of sales network of Yunnan Region, key models launched by Yunnan Region and the cooperation mode of C&C Trucks-Yuchai service consortium.

C&C trucks highlighted five product advantages in comfort, safety, power, economy and superiority from the aspects of driving cab, electric system, engine, chassis system, production process and vehicle. Yang noted, with rich customer resources, Yuchai service stations can dispel customers' anxieties for maintenance, and selling vehicles at service stations will be a win-win mode for sale and service.

Subsequently, Zhou Yong, chief service engineer of Y&C Engine, introduced the advantages and features of the company's 6K12/13 and 6K13N engines, sales and use of 6K engines, as well as the company's characteristic services.

Products of Y & C Engine have been well received in the market for technologies like efficient reverse cooling, overhead camshaft, integrated cylinder cover, resistance to high explosive pressure, in-cylinder braking (Jacobs) and parts modularization. Combined with the company's ultra-long warranty period and human-oriented characteristic service, its products were unanimously praised by over 30 key service stations of Yuchai present.

At the end of the meeting, Zhang Zhiguo, vice general manager of C&C Trucks Marketing Service Co., Ltd. and the representative of Yunnan Yuchai service consortium signed a cooperative agreement on distribution of 300 C&C trucks and a purchase contract for 15 C&C trucks in 2014.

"C&C Trucks and Y&C Engine are of one family, their sales, marketing and services are integrated, and the 10,000th C&C truck is about to roll offline since C&C trucks were launched in December 2010, which has been inseparable from the concerted efforts of everybody. C&C trucks are becoming increasingly mature. Amid the slump of the heavy-duty truck market over the two years, C&C Trucks has spotted the penetration point, for example, it replaced part of diesel heavy-duty trucks, high-end logistics tractors and urban muck dump trucks with LNGV," Zhang said, adding, "C&C Trucks will pool resources and concentrate on building advantageous regional markets in the next period, I think the presentation is very important and successful, I believe the cooperation with Yuchai service consortium will be a win-win."
