According to sources on February 16, the YC20 hydraulic excavator project of Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) was awarded Yulins first prize for progress in science and technology by the Yulin Municipal Peoples Government.

YC20 hydraulic excavator was independently developed by YHI with fully independent intellectual property right, has passed the scientific and technological achievement appraisal of the autonomous region, and has been up to advanced standards among similar domestic products. After stages such as technical design, sample trial-manufacturing and small-batch trial-manufacturing, YHI has been capable of manufacturing YC20 hydraulic excavators in batch.
