On March 27, on the awarding ceremony of "TOP50 Products of China Construction Machinery 2011", Yuchai Heavy Industry YC50-8 crawler-type hydraulic pressure excavator was ranked TOP50 Products of China Construction Machinery 2011.

On the Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition in October 2011, as one of 24 types of new products of Yuchai heavy industry, YC50-8 hydraulic pressure excavators appeared on the International Construction Machinery Exhibition and drew much attention of professional users and participants at home and abroad, in and beyond the industry. Adopting the new hydraulic pressure system, YC50-8 hydraulic pressure excavators feature better  operation performance of complete machines, larger digging force and less oil consumption and can easily cope with various heavy load working situations; the performance of complete machines is improved in the whole; with a higher reliability and working efficiency, it can effectively improve the capability of refine operation on the premise of maintaining the high-efficiency operation performance and is widely used in such small-sized engineering as construction of rural roads, channeling and ditching and gardens, etc.

It is learnt that, this award is the high recognition and honor that the industry of construction machinery in China gives to hydraulic pressure excavators of the Company after YC85-8 hydraulic pressure excavators, YC230LC-8hydraulic pressure excavators and YC135-8 hydraulic pressure excavators, etc. rank TOP50 Products of China Construction Machinery.
