On April 10, the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region organized experts of entities such as the State Key Laboratory of Engines, Wuhan University of Technology, Guangxi University, China Classification Society Guangzhou Branch and Guangxi Automobile & Tractor Research Institute to make up a review committee to accept the project of YC6T marine diesel engine for power generation undertaken by Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM). The committee members reached a consensus that the project could produce remarkable benefit and approved of acceptance.

The committee heard YMs report on project investment, construction and operation, conducted a field inspection, confirmed it production capacity and believed it has fully reached the expected annual production capacity of 5,000 diesel engines, thus approving of acceptance unanimously.
