On May 25, the signing ceremony for cooperation among Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI), Yuchai Remanufacturing Services (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (YRS), Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. (YM) and Yuchai Machinery Monopoly Development Co., Ltd. (YMMD), and the launch ceremony for Journey of Thanksgiving--Care 2012 service month was held in Changzhou. Among attendees were representatives of suppliers of the four companies, major leaders and staff representatives of YHI and distributor representatives of YHI.

At the ceremony, Zhang Shiyong, general manager of YHI and Wang Limin, acting deputy general manager of YM concluded a cooperative agreement on service station construction; YHI and Yang Shiwei, general manager of YRS concluded a cooperative agreement on engine remanufacturing; and Bian Dejun, deputy general manager of YHI and Liu Ming, executive deputy general manager of YMMD concluded a parts cooperation agreement.
The move is aimed to establish a new service mode and build new service advantage. With the establishment of the new service mode, the four companies will serve customers in a combined way. This is an integral part of YHIs core competitiveness.
YHI concludes an agreement with YM
According to sources, Yuchai engines has held a share of over 60 percent in YHIs full line of products. By cooperating with YMMD, YHI used remanufactured engines in services and the after market, setting a precedent in the industry. The strategic cooperation with YMMD is Yuchais concrete action of comprehensively implementing the core concept of Green Development & Harmony Win-win, as well as its strategic action of truly reducing maintenance and service costs for customers.
YHI will pressure ahead with the construction of agents engine service stations to enable them to provide integrated engine services, thus boosting Yuchais service response and effectively solving problems in customer services. Besides, By cooperating with YMMD, YHI will take full advantage of the large number of business outlets nationwide and fast delivery speed of YMMDs subsidiaries, to ensure the timely supply of Yuchais engine parts and the popularization of genuine parts and meet YHIs appeal for fast services.
Over the two decades, YHI has been committed to building a market-oriented service system. By integrating superior resources this time, YHI worked closely with the engine sector in fields such as purchase, service, parts and remanufacturing, thereby forming a complete Yuchai system industry chain and taking the lead to create a new development mode. The all-round construction of the service system will contribute to the formation of the most distinctive service brand of YHI.
According to sources, the two-month event is scheduled to provide free services for over 2,000 Yuchai excavators in the country, and offer technical support, machinery maintenance and repair to YHIs excavator customers, thus laying a solid foundation for further enhancing YHIs corporate image and brand building.
