Recently, the first batch of 20 C&C heavy-duty trucks carrying YC6MK340N-40 engines has arrived at Muli coal mine in Qinghai Province. The order involves 100 units, and the other 80 will be delivered in succession. The delivery marks Chinas first batch of LNG National IV gas engines will be tested in arctic and anoxic environment (at an average altitude of 4,500 meter). This is also the debut of LNG new energy heavy-duty trucks carrying Yuchai engines on Tibet Plateau.
Muli coal mine in Tianjun County, Qinghai Province is rich in resources including open cut coking coal, natural gas and flammable ice, but the environment is extremely harsh. Even so, YC6M heavy-duty engines have been highly acclaimed by customers for merits including strong power, high climbing capacity and solidness since entering Muli mining area with Dongfeng T-Lift trucks in large volume, and the number of YC6M engines matching trucks in the mining area has topped 1,200 units.
Aiming at northwest Chinas rich gas sources and low gas prices, LNG new energy C&D heavy-duty trucks carrying Yuchai engines has marched into Muli coal mine. The successful trial operations of LNG gas engines will trigger a change from diesel engines to gas engines.
To ensure the smooth operations of these vehicles, Yuchai Qinghai office has conducted timely planning, and made full preparations for after services in such aspects as training in use and maintenance of Yuchai gas engines, gas engine maintenance training for service outlets and parts launch.
