Recently, the document (Gui Gong Xin Zhuang Bei [2012] No. 865) of the Industry and Information Technology Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has unveiled the results of reviewing the outstanding achievements in process, tool and equipment renovation in Guangxi in 2012. As a result, all the 25 projects declared Yuchai Heavy Industry Company Limited (YHI) were awarded.

In the review, five projects, including Li Jians Popularization and Application of Cast Steel SCW550 in Tooling Devices and Wu Jiabos Transformation of Structural Parts Painting Line, were unanimously praised by the review experts for their high utility, prominent innovativeness, good economic benefit and high value for popularization, thus winning the first prize. Ten projects including Application of Boring Die of Excavator Boom in Double-faced Boring-Milling Processing Center won the second prize, and 10 projects including Design and Application of Hydraulic Pin Tooling of Bucket Pin won the third prize.

In recent years, YHI has paid close attention to independent innovation, endeavored to create favorable development space for technological staff, acknowledged and rewarded the outstanding technological staff engaged in process, tool and equipment renovation, thus arousing staffs enthusiasm and innovativeness, reducing costs and constantly enhancing the companys popularity and market competitiveness.
