On March 21, a delegation headed by Li Changhua, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, surveyed Yuchai Power Machinery Co., Ltd. (YPM).

The delegation visited YPM's engine production shop, engine showroom and agricultural machinery assembly shop, inquiring into the company's small and medium-power engine matching and investment in emission reduction R & D. Li encouraged the company to intensify the market development of small and medium-power engines and supply low-emission environment-friendly engines to farmers.

The autonomous region gives strong support to the agricultural machinery industry, pays close attention to agricultural machinery development, practically serves agriculture, countryside and farmers, and gives full play to Yuchai's advantage to build branded agricultural machinery, Li said, requiring the Yulin Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology to offer as much support as possible to YPM in the development of machinery products suiting Guangxi's local agricultural operations.
