On February 20, Xuan Zongmin, general manager and Party secretary of Guangdong Yueyun Transportation Company Limited (Yueyun Transportation), lead a delegation to visit Yuchai. The delegation exchanged ideas with General Manager Wu Qiwei and other leaders of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yuchai.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed issues like Yuchai's foundry technology and the development potential of Guangdong's highway passenger transport market and gas engine market. Xuan said, Yueyun Transportation mainly provides vehicle transportation and matching services, comprehensive logistics service and highway-related services. 70 percent of the company's highway transportation vehicles are powered by Yuchai. Xuan believed that the strategic cooperation will further standardize the company's after-sales engine service system.

Wu introduced Yuchai's market performance in 2013. Amid micro industrial growth in 2013, Yuchai took the lead in bringing its engine sales to 500,000 units. Yuchai's bus sector grew substantially, which was reflected in the fast growth of Yuchai's NG market and the smooth switch of Yuchai's bus market from the national III emission standard to the national IV emission standard. In recent years, Yuchai's product quality has kept improving with its market share increasingly constantly.

Before the meeting, Xuan visited the foundry center, the test center, the heavy engine processing workshop, the heavy engine assembly & commissioning workshop and Yuchai Huayuan Machinery (Yulin) Co., Ltd.
