On February 21, Wu Qiwei, general manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., met a delegation led by Wei Hongjiao, president of Guangxi Communications Technician College (GCTC). He said, Yuchai will cement school-enterprise cooperation and have the college train talents based on Yuchai's demand for special talents.

In the discussion with the delegation, Wu listened to GCTC's opinion and suggestion on advancing school-enterprise cooperation. Corporate development needs technical talents at levels, he said, hoping to cement school-enterprise cooperation with related parties to train talents urgently needed by the enterprise.

Wu said, China's diesel engine emission standard has switched to national IV and V and gradually entered the stage of electronic control. During market development, it is especially important to build a capable electronic control service team for diesel oil engines apart from service outlet construction. Besides internal training, Yuchai will train qualified talents in ways like school-enterprise cooperation, thus improving its capacity for market service, consolidating its role as a leading service provider in the industry and ensuring the smooth implementation of the national IV and V emission standards for diesel engines.
