On July 10, Yuchai Group held the unveiling ceremony of the women worker innovation studio at the Practical Training Center. The studio came as another worker studio after the skill master studio and the model worker studio, marking that a new innovative platform for technical development, renovation, invention and inheritance has been established for Yuchai's nearly 5,000 women workers. Present at the ceremony were leaders including Liang Jiandong, chairman of the Fund Inspection Committee of the Yulin Federation of Trade Unions; Lyu Yiqing, director of the Women Worker Department of Yuchai Group; Guo Deming, deputy Party secretary of Yuchai Group; Li Chengjie, chairman of the Labor Union of Yuchai Group and Chen Jinyuan, president of Yuchai Technician Association.

Yuchai's women worker innovation studio is led by the group woman pacesetter and senior technician Xu Yanni. The first 10 studio members are from posts such as technical R & D, quality control and manufacturing, including senior engineers, senior technicians, technical masters and model workers. The studio will work on seven fields including technical quality improvement, application and popularization of new technologies, processes and materials, and technology and skill inheritance, quantize all targets and conduct regular assessment.
Liang and Guo unveiled the studio. At the unveiling ceremony, Liang noted that the studio is a platform for giving play to women workers' intelligence and wisdom and further improving the enterprise's capacity for independent innovation. He hoped that the studio members would bring their subjective initiative into play, carry forward the working class' great character of devotion, innovation and self-motivation, and carry out various activities of technical development, technical innovation and teaching, thus vigorously promoting the scientific and healthy development of the enterprise.
Li required that the studio should advance construction according to the provincial standards and strive to pass the autonomous region's acceptance in October to upgrade to an autonomous region women worker innovation studio; and should follow the examples of the skill master studio and the model worker studio, draw on their construction experience, lead the group's 5,000 women workers to improve on their posts, cultivate innovation thinking, sharpen innovation skills, improve innovation capacity and create more elite women workers, thus supporting Yuchai's second startup.
Xu pledged that the studio will adhere to the policy of continuous improvement and innovation, focus on technical development, first-line difficulty resolution and talent training, and be committed to becoming an innovative platform, a stage for staff growth and a center for pooling women workers' strength.
Following the ceremony, the studio members held the first meeting to make concrete arrangements based on the annual work targets and plan.
