July 30th, 2007, Ping Yan, the president of Yuchai Group visited Mr. Zhang Jiuheng, the Chinese ambassador in Thailand . 

    During the visit, the ambassador indicated that Yuchai is the pride of Yulin, Guangxi, and even China ; the Embassy of China in Thailand would do their best to help Yuchai to expand its businesses in Thailand . He also emphasized that Yuchai's business in Thailand should be firmly based on a localized plan, excellent quality and after sales service.

    President Ping Yan expressed his sincere appreciation to the ambassador and the embassy staff for their consistent support to Yuchai, and assured him that Yuchai would do thoroughly research of the Thailand market and make localized marketing plan to increase Yuchai's shares in Thailand .
