Yuchai's YC-8 excavator series successfully completed

    In the afternoon of Oct 9th, YC-8 excavators, a new series of Yuchai Engineering Machinery Limited (YEML), were successfully completed in the assembly line. The new machines reached a milestone of research and increased the competitive of YEML.

    President Ping Yan, vice president Biqing Liu, vice CEO Bo Yang, vice CEO Chunqiang Chen and guests from KYB of Japan attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for celebrating the completion of the new products. 

    The successful completion of YC-8 series is a great achievement after 6-year hard work of all employees of YEML under the leadership of president Ping Yan and the management team by applying the principle of "market oriented and innovation focused". In his speech, Ping Yan praised the employees of YEML for their hard work and great achievement. He pointed out that it was a new achievement in the technical innovation of engine business. Ping hoped that by continuing internal reformation, strengthening research and continuously launching new product, YEML would push its business to the top level in China and make breakthrough in the capital market.

    The YC-8 series were upgraded from YC-7 series. The series include six categories. They are YC225-8, YC85-8, YC60-8, YC35-8, YC18-8 and YC35SR. The series are powered with YC6108ZQB, YC 4108G and YC 4F engines. Several key parts are imported such as pumps, valves and motors.  The YC-8 series also used fuel auto-filling system, electronic throttle, auto-idling, electronic monitoring and conditioner.  The new DCPD material is used on the YC-8 for painting.  The Operation component was improved to more people oriented.  The outfit of the series is also more streamlined. The series have numerous functions such as excavating, pulverizing, duct-cleaning and clawing. They can be widely used in construction, traffic, city facilities, landscape and agricultural facilities.
