In 2008, Yuchai sped up to enter the international market. Yuchai Construction Company of Yuchai group took the opportunity to promote its overseas business; achieved a good start in January; and the trend continued in February.

    In 2007, Yuchai Construction Company sold 983 construction machines abroad with sales of 133 million Yuan. In 2008, the Construction Company target at 1,495 excavators and 30 million US dollars. Since the beginning of the year, the Construction Company has done the follow steps to increase its share of international market: strengthened the service cooperation with overseas distributors; set up a storage of parts in Europe ; improved the procedure of order inspection. During January and February in 2008, the Construction Company exported 244 excavators and achieved sales income of 34 million Yuan which was 100% higher over the same period of last year. The companys export keeps a very good trend.
