On Nov. 6, the ceremony of the 30 Years Reform and Opening up Show & the Innovation Stars of the Reform was held at the Great Hall of the People along with its grand award ceremony to cerebrate  the 30^th anniversary of China s reform and opening up. The Chairman of Board of Yuchai Group Yan Ping received title of the Ten Most Influential Figures in Innovations of China (industry) Reform. Its the only award for Guangxi and for the whole industry of China at large.

Yan Ping, having being in management at large scale enterprises for years, is a senior corporate management expert of both ideology and practices. In 2005, he was appointed to be the chairman of Yuchai. For the past 3 years, he led the company marched on a sustainable track and made the company have the most advanced technology in the industry. The company enjoys the position as a leader in the domestic engine industry, a leader of Guangxi manufacturers as well as a good reputation in the international auto field. Yan Ping is recognized by the industry as an innovation figure and mature entrepreneur for his preeminent ability and spectacular accomplishments.

The 30 Years Reform and Opening up Show & the Innovation Stars of the Reform public appraisal event was co-hosted by 6 organizations including the Chinas Reform Magazine, the Research Center of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, China Economic and Trade Guide Magazine of the State Development and Reform Commission, China Economic Weekly of Peoples Daily, China Economic Information Magazine of the Economic Daily News, and China Enterprise Newspaper. This event started from June 2008 and the organizing committee will select reform stars of varied periods and varied fields during the 30 years reform and opening up.
