Guangxi Yuchai Group Co., Ltd. was selected to the Top 500 Chinese Brands

The "2008 annual meeting of Asian leader of influential brand", jointly sponsored by Asian Brand Construction Association, Asian Brand Union Organization, First Financial Daily Press, China Industry News Press and Business Times Press, was held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse from Dec. 16-17. Yan Ping, the chairman of the Board of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd., was named the Leader of Chinese Influential Brand. Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd. was also listed into the Top 500 Chinese Brands. Wang Wenyuan, vice chairman of the 9^th CPPCC National Committee, attended the ceremony and presented the awards to the winners.

The 21st century is the century of the brand. Brand, the image and strength of a nation, represents the spirits of a nation and represents the core competitiveness of an enterprise. The brand plays a crucial role in the marketing competition. With the goal to boost the health, systematic and fast development of the brand building, Yuchai has done huge works and has built the three tiers integrated brand structure including the corporate brand, business brand and product brand. Yan Ping, chairman of the board, has achieved phenomenal accomplishment in the building of Yuchai brand, and created a good image of a national engine brand. Consequently, he won the leader of Chinese influential brand.

In the meantime, the membership of the Asian Brand Construction Association helps Yuchai spread its brand influence in the global market, and achieve the globalization goal of building a world-renowned brand and being a large scale international corporation.
