In 2008, the export of Yuchai excavators reached 952 with sales of 20.13 million US Dollars, setting a record high. Among them, the ranking of excavators of 15 tons and below kept the 1^st place from the second year. It speeds up the international process of Yuchai.

In 2008, YC135 and YC18 hydraulic excavators won the 2007 Guangxi Excellent New Product Award. Yuchai YC15-8, YC35-8, YC45-8, YC55-8, YC85-8 and YC135-8 series excavators passed the test of the CE certifications of 98/37/EC machinery, the test of 2000/14/EC Noise Directive organized by British AVT (the most authoritative body of noise directive of Europe), and the test of the CE certification of 2004/108/EC EMC Directive organized by SGS Group. They will strongly boost the export of Yuchai excavators to the EU market.
