At the end of 2008, the list for "Top 100 Chinese enterprises of Auto Parts in 2007" was released by China Automobile Industry Association. Yuchai with an income of 18.35 billion Yuan from the main business ranks the third place.  

In 2007, the output of auto in China hit 8.88 million, maintaining a high growth for the past 9 straight years. Followed the rapid growth of auto, the auto parts industry has also made remarkable development. A group of high-tech, large scale, and profitable key enterprises perform well in the industry. Yuchai is one of them. Since 2007, with the mission to meet the public demand for power with excellence and the leading spirit, Yuchai extended the industrial cluster based on the core business focusing on related products of diesel engines, construction machinery, special-purpose vehicles, auto parts, automotive chemicals and logistics, etc. Its sales revenue reached 18.3 billion Yuan and kept the top position in the industry for 7 consecutive years.  

Besides Yuchai, a number of other outstanding enterprises are included in the list, such as Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd., Wanxiang Group, Guangzhou Automobile Group Component Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd and so on.
