The suppliers conference of Yuchai, with theme of face the crisis; make innovative breakthroughs, was held in Hangzhou recently. The event was attended by Yan Ping and other high level managers of Yuchai, as well as persons in charge of the Federation of Yuchai Suppliers and other 450 representatives from 288 suppliers across the country.  

During the conference, based on the analysis of current situation, chairman of the Board of Yuchai Group Yan Ping pointed out that, the crunch of the global economy posted both challenges and opportunities. According to the current economic statues and development of the industry in combination with the market forecasts, he introduced the strategic adjustment under new circumstances, countermeasure to the crises and innovation move, as well as the general approach and measure of creating a new partnership YC strategic alliance. He hoped that the suppliers should exchange ideas with Yuchai, offer advice and suggestions, and communicate more with the management team for mutual development!

General Manager of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd Li Tiansheng gave a summary on the production and operation of Yuchai. Then he introduced the business goal and detailed the operation approaches that were: to face the crisis, develop internal strength and market competition. He said that the next step of Yuchai is, in accordance with the proposals and issues rose by representatives, to make reform, rectification and planning, as well as to develop and implement construction plan for the upcoming 3-5 years that are to build a professional supply system, build sound and efficient operational new partnership with suppliers----- value added professional alliance.  

In 2009, Yuchai has to cope with worse business environment and a more challenging market to meet the 350 thousand sales targets. Face the crisis; make innovative breakthroughs should not only be the theme of the conference, but also the cooperation theme throughout 2009. He called the entire suppliers to: face the crisis, pay attention to the crisis, and increase confidence; intensify product research and development; reduce costs and enhance product quality; use their own advantages; identify shortcomings; improve the level of corporate management and resolve the crisis in the market; keep pace with the development of Yuchai; jointly respond to changes in the market and offer good services, and positively keep steps with the production of Yuchai, in an efforts to complete every order in time, to meet market demand.
