On January 16, 2009, at the National Recognition Conference of the China Federation of Trade Unions, Yuchai was awarded the 2008 Annual National Model Unit of Learning and the National "May 1st" Labor Medal. Only 10 organizations nationwide won the award. Rao Yingxian, chairman of Yuchai Trade Union, attended the event and received the award.   

Since 2005, staying on the core value of green development and win-win in harmony, Yuchai group has carried out a series of activities to encourage all employees to continue study. Those activities helped to improve the overall quality of staff and stimulate the sustainable development of the company. Yuchai has won high ratings and many rewards such as the Learning UnitsTop Chinese Learning Unit Prize, National Model Unit of Learning and Guangxi Model Unit of Learning and other titles.
