---The 2009 General Assembly of Marketing Services was held at Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd

On January 7, at the entrance of Nanning Jinhua Hotel,  flags and  balloons written with following the success of small excavators, the Heavy Industry Co., Ltd takes off were above hotel gate.  There were 10 sedans for trophies, too. The 2009 General Assembly of Marketing Services of Guangxi Yuchai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (formerly Yuchai Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., hereinafter referred to as the company) was held here. It was the 1^st grand event since the brand of Yuchai Heavy Industry was established. The appearance of Yuchai Heavy Industry before distributors nationwide signaled that Yuchai Engineering Machinery was taking steps to become Yuchai Heavy Industry.

Yan Ping makes an important speech

Chairman of the Board of Yuchai Group and chairman of Yuchai Heavy Industry Yan Ping attended the assembly and gave an important speech. President of Yuchai Group Gu Tangsheng, executive vice-chairman Zhang Shiyong, general manager Xia Yuwu, deputy manager Bian Dejun and major leaders of 39 distributors attended the event. Speaking at the assembly, Yan Ping appreciated the accomplishment of the company that included a total of 3,797 excavators were sold with a sales income of 1,077 billion Yuan. Among them 952 were exported, making it the top exporter of mini type excavators in China . Yuchai is the 2^nd in the sales volume of mini excavators industry. He stressed that, the Yuchai Heavy Industry sector is the most significant section for the  development and growth of Yuchai. The management team should map out plans in the brand strategy, human resources reserves, technical reserves and product planning. He noted that the vibrant vitality of the management team was the key for the advantage of Yuchai; thereby, he requested that all executives have a strong responsibility and the ability to shoulder the pressure. He encouraged the all leaders of the company and distributors. He said: We shall build up our confidence and treat Yuchai Heavy Industry as our own community. Lets work harder together and make it a well known brand in the upcoming 3 to 5 years.

Zhang Shiyong reported on the business operation. He set the tune for 2009--- the year of quality. He established business approach of Yuchai Industry: the brand priority and all development strategy; strengthening the responsibility, exercising strict control over quality; innovative marketing, enhancing services; implementing reform, getting rid of bad habits, elaborated the significance of brand strategy and corporate development plan for the future. On inspiriting the whole participants, he said: Lets all unite and cooperate against all difficulties, to develop the market for the national industry and achieve the victory of 2009.

Zhang Shiyong presents awards to model salespersons of Yuchai Heavy Industry

The assembly summarized  the company's 2008 marketing and service work, and highlighted the key points in marketing services, product development, and product quality in 2009. Then the assembly proceeded to award model groups and individuals. 10 individuals were rewarded the title of service models of Yuchai Heavy Industry or sales models of Yuchai Heavy Industry and 100 thousand Yuan respectively. 10 outstanding distributors and service stations were awarded title of Top distributors of Yuchai Heavy Industry or Golden Service Station of Yuchai Heavy Industry and a sedan respectively. Yan Ping and Gu Tangsheng respectively presented the awards and the keys of sedans to the award recipients, and encouraged them to achieve more in 2009.  

At the end of the assembly, all attendants had a group photo. They took a positive attitude to battle the financial turmoil.
