Helped by a variety of state policies to stimulate the domestic demand, in particular, the introduction of the subsidy to agricultural machines, the orders of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. in February increased dramatically, from 26,000 to around 36,000. It set a record over the same period.  

In 2008, the engine industry was heavily impacted by the influence of financial crisis. Yuchai seized the substantial opportunities behind the subsidy policy to agricultural machines and made timely adjustment. It set up the product strategy of from city to countryside, which subsequently provided the chance for Yuchai in the new economic situation.  

Because of the surge in orders, immediately after the Spring Festival, the production and purchase system organized a series of communication and coordination meetings with production, procurement and technical departments. The meetings focused on the capacity bottleneck analysis, production organization, production shifts and standard outputs requirements, as well as parts procurement. Every plant made preparations for the order in advance, and has been working in full capacity to ensure the timely delivers. In the meantime, Yuchai Party committee and trade union closely worked around the production system for the publicity and logistic guarantee for production.  

In the face of the encouraging market, leaders and all staff of plants and departments are required to ensure the safety of working and product quality to have a good start in the first quarter of the year.
