Recently, Yuchai Group was named the loving-heart unit for poverty relief by the Women's Federation of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.   

In 2008, in order to fulfill the corporate responsibility, Yuchai continued the Spring Bud Plan to help impoverished female students from dropping out of school. In 2008, a total of over 220, 000 Yuan donated by Yuchai employees, as well as 346 cotton-padded clothes bought by the Group were delivered to 500 impoverished female students of Yulin city. In the meantime, the Loving Heart Supermarket has been set up by the Women Workers Committee of Yuchai Group to help children of employees. The committee has received a total of more than 600 items and over 6, 000 Yuan. A total of 66 children received help in the whole year.  

Since 2005, the Group has received the title of model unit of Spring Bud Plan of Guangxi twice.
