Yuchai employees are shipping cultivators

Spring is the seeding season, so the cultivators are most popular machines for farmers. In the afternoon of March 4, organized by Yulin City Agricultural Bureau, 1, 000 Yuchai cultivators were sent to countryside from the new workshops of Yuchai Power Co., Ltd.  

Over the past two years, the government has implemented series policies to help famers. The subsidy was increased annually to agricultural machines purchase to help farmers enter into farming mechanization. In 2008, the central government subsidized 200 Yuan to every machine. In 2009, the central government raised the amount to 800 Yuan. In the meantime the Yulin city government added 200 Yuan additionally. Each Yuchai cultivator costs 3, 000 Yuan. The subsidy from central government and Yulin city government has gone up to 1, 000, which means that a farmer only pays 2, 000 Yuan for one machine, said the director general of Yulin City Agricultural Bureau Huang Zhi.  

The cultivator produced by Yuchai General Machinery Co., Ltd. is equipped with YC176 diesel oil engine. Since its release to the market, its superior price-performance ratio and services has won the recognition of farmers. The sales volume of Yuchai cultivators saw a 20 year-on-year growth in January-February this year. At the cultivators delivering site, chief Engineer of Yuchai Group and president of Yuchai Power Co., Ltd. Li Hanyang told the reporter that, even though there were only 1000 cultivators, it marked a good start, and it carried significant meanings. They were: 1. responded to the call of country; 2. implemented the strategy of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai of the City party committee and government; 3. benefitted the farmers; 4. promoted the development of Yuchai agricultural machinery sector. Yuchai will take this opportunity to optimize its products to benefit more farmers.
