The Annual Suppliers Conference of Guangzhou Automobile Group Autobus CO., Ltd, with the theme of to overcome the current difficulty and create the future together, was held in Zhaoqing , Guangdong on March 9. Representatives of 88 suppliers nationwide were invited to the event. The company announced the winners of 12 top suppliers of 2008 at the conference. Yuchai, along with other top suppliers, received the prizes from president of Guangzhou Automobile Group Autobus Co. Ltd. Jiang Ping.  

On behalf of the suppliers, vice chief of Bus Department of Yuchai Zhou Chuanwu made a speech. He expressed his thanks to the company. He was pride to the honor issued by Guangzhou Automobile Group Autobus, He said, adding that we share mutual understanding, trust and support during the difficulty times such as 2008 blizzard disaster, Sichuan earthquake and the upgrade of State II to State III and we finally achieved a win-win situation". "It proved that Yuchai and Guangzhou Automobile Group Autobus have gone through the test of the market, he said.  

Yuchai and Guangzhou Automobile Group Autobus have a long history of cooperation. Since the reorganization of Guangzhou Denway and Guangzhou ISUZU of Guangzhou Automobile Group, Yuchai and the company has strengthened high-level discussion, standardized the concepts and consolidated cooperation. Both sides set up the new strategic partnership in early 2009. They tightened the key ties in technical research and development, supporting the application, production and procurement, marketing, service guarantee and other important fields. In particular, the development and supporting of the full range of new models for the vehicles for 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games is in good progress. The two sides illustrated their confidence in future cooperative prospects.
