Mayor Han Yuanli led a team to Yuchai workshop

Tthe new mayor of Yulin City Han Yuanli with a team visited Yuchai in the morning of February 27. The purpose of the visit is to understand the situation of production and operation of Yuchai, serve Yuchai better, and conduct research of the strategy of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai. Yan Ping, Li Tiansheng, Gu Tangsheng and other high level managers had symposium discussion with visiting leaders. Han Yuanli said that the Yulin Party Committee and government would always support Yuchai with the full strength of the city.   

Accompanied by Chairman Yan Ping, Han Yuanli and the team visited the second engine plant, heavy machinery processing workshop and heavy machinery testing workshop. The mayor was impressed by the modernization the production capacity.  

At the discussion following the tour, Yan Ping reported the basic situation of Yuchai, development progress, achievements in production, management, administration, R & D and other sections of Yuchai in 2008 and 2009, as well as the analyses on market and next moves of the Group. he added: Because of the leadership of city Party Committee and government, the collaboration of all level governmental agencies, and continue implementing of the strategy of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai  Yuchai, having gone though the ordeal of 2008, will take the opportunity in the new year, regain the resilience and charm in the industry, achieve the dream of Yuchai internationalization and make new contributions to the economy of Yulin!

Han Yuanli was impressed by the outstanding performance to Yuchai and thanked the efforts and service of all employees. He pointed out: the development of Yuchai made huge contribution to the industry of Yulin, even the national economy. Last year, 52 new key projects directly supporting or serving Yuchai were started, with a total investment of 7.8 billion Yuan. Large -scale industrial enterprises earned a value-added amount of 7.54 billion Yuan, up 17.1%. The GDP of the city reached 60.5 billion Yuan, up 12.9 %. The fiscal revenue rose to 4.77 billion Yuan, an increase of 17.4%. In addition, Yuchai offered an exemplary model for the transformation of ways of economic development in terms of business management and technological innovation. In the Government Work Report of the Sixth Meeting of the 26th People's Congress of Yulin City, the strategy of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai was the most significant issue. The whole city shared the same sense of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai. The visit to Yuchai today gave the mayor a thorough in-depth understanding of the company that would help him better serve Yuchai and Yulin.  

Speaking at the conference, Han Yuanli said: Yuchai should recover confidence and seize opportunities to maintain sound and fast development; explore new platform and new space to lead the industry of Yulin; take more responsibility and improve service to ensure the implementation of to grow Yulin by strengthening Yuchai.
