Recently, with the nominations from observers of the public sector, the results from the vote of Peoples Net, Sohu Net, Chinese Brands Net, and 315 Net and other websites, and comprehensive examination, Yuchai construction machinery won the title of the the 5^th (2008) Top Ten Influential Brands of Chinese Construction Machinery Industry. Its the 5^th year that Yuchai Heavy Industry, with hard work and self-innovation, a strong social responsibility and a fine reputation won the title. Under the invasion of foreign brands into the domestic counterparts, Yuchai maintained the statues of national brands and obtained the respect of Chinese people.

After nearly 20 years development since its founding, Yuchai Heavy Industry became the most comprehensive small and medium-size hydraulic excavator manufacturer in China . Its products cover YC08, YC35, YC60, YC85, YC135, YC230LC and YC255LC full hydraulic excavators, mini rotation radius excavators of more than 70 varieties of 20 major series including YC18SR, YC35SR and YC75SR. The delicate structure, reliable quality, strong and efficient power of the products and imported world-class hydraulic components make their technical performance indicators reach international advanced level. The products have won a number of patents.  Several products have passed the evaluation of the high-tech Products certification. The perfect integration of advanced technology and lower costs, along with the excellent cost-effective ratio of the products gained popularity among users and the market.

In 2008, the export and domestic sales of excavators were reduced by the financial crisis. Many excavator makers faced capital pinch and the reshuffle of the industry. Facing this economic scenario, Yuchai Heavy Industry still ranked the 2^nd place in the total sales volume of excavators below 15 T and the 1^st exporter of excavators below 15 T for the second straight year. In 2009, the company is going to reshape the new image of Yuchai Heavy Industry, improve the quality of products and explore markets at home and aboard.
