Buses of Shouqi Group for the two sessions  

During the warm breeze of the early spring season, the Chinese Peoples Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and National Peoples Congress were successfully concluded on March 13. The heart warming events showed Chinese peoples confidence in fighting against financial crisis. It also indicated that the economy of China and the nation is going to be rejuvenated. Beijing Shouqi Group provided transportation for both events. Among its 496 buses of various sizes 65 large size buses were equipped with Yuchai State III engines.  

Shouqi Group had made meticulous preparations and all-round mobilization to ensure the safety and quality of the service. It paid great attention to the aspects such as comfort, environmental protection and safety to offer a harmonious, safe and quality transport service. It also put great pressure on Yuchai Group to make more efforts for the mission as one of the main power providers. Prior to the two sessions, the service center and Beijing office developed a comprehensive service program, made adequate preparations and sent every staff, parts and equipments in place in a short time to secure the transportation. As an important piece of the vehicle service for the two sessions, the office dispatched the State III engine service team headed by electric control engineer Wang Yu to station at the vehicle service site.

Yuchai service team careful checked engines and fixed all troubles to make sure that all buses were in the best condition before the buses were deplored in the site. Team members had to standby around the clock at different places due to the disseminated parking lots. Their service was divided into two phases: one was at the time of transporting delegations to the Peoples Hall, and the other was at the time of returning all delegations back to the hotels. Service teams were required to get to the parking lots to check the engine, and then board the buses along with delegates to the Peoples Hall. After all delegates entered into the Hall, the team checked every bus and asked drivers whether there was any problem. They pre-started the engine to see if there was any abnormality half an hour before the end of the conference in order to make sure that every bus returns to the destination safely. Each night after the transport, they went to the parking lots to talk with drivers followed by detailed investigations of the engines.   

Yuchai successfully completed the tasks as no Yuchai engines broke down during the two sessions. In the past two years, the outstanding performances of Yuchai in the services to the two sessions, Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and Beijing Olympics were rewarded with high praise from Shouqi Group, Youth Travel Agency and other organizations. These successes prove the reliability of Yuchai engines and the Yuchai services.
