Four young employees of Yuchai were titled by China Communist Youth League Guangxi Committee and Labor and Social Security Department of Guangxi recently. Li Yun from Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was awarded the title of 2007-2008 annual Guangxi Outstanding Young Skilled Worker. Feng Qiang and Qin Maohua from Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Chen Qin from Yuchai Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. were awarded the title of 2007-2008 annual Guangxi Young Skilled Worker.  

Feng Qiang  

As a miller of the process and equipment plant he works hard and woks smart on his job to achieve the best and training the other technicians carefully. He has resolved a lot of difficulties in making the tough high-precision units under the heavy workload and tense schedule. For example, he designed a set of process to make symmetrical slot of the six-cylinder crankshaft cover that enhanced the efficiency and quality of the product considerably. His creative ideas always present him with awards in the plant. Feng Qiang was the 3^rd place in the miller contest in the 2^nd Youth Skill Competition of Guangxi and won the 6^th place as a team and the 14^th place as individual in the Zhenxing Cup National Youth Skill Competition.   

Li Yun  

As a technician of the process and equipment plant, Li Yun dedicated himself to the mold manufacturing, repair and inspection. He played an important role in making the molds of W8800, C3000, T9000 and K6000 engine models. He made substantially contribution to Yuchai. During the mold making of 4W and 4Y diesel engine for sedan use, he worked hard to make remarkable improvements and successfully completed the task with high quality. He won the 2^nd place in the fitter contest of the 2^nd Youth Skill Competition of Guangxi, and gained the 6^th place as a team in the Zhenxing Cup National Youth Skill Competition. 

Qin Maohua  

As a mold fitter of the process and equipment plant, with experience and high skill, he participated in the development and manufacturing of the molds of crock, cylinder head and crankcase of the 4W, 3W, W8800 and 4Y sedan diesel engines, as well as the molds of C3000, T9000, K 6000 and M6000 heavy duty diesel engines. He played an active role in a range of projects that were awarded by the plant. He has provided valuable experience in mold making and repair that saved the time on mold processing and made huge contribution to the cost reduction project of Yuchai. Qin Maohua won the 1^st place in the fitter contest of the 2^nd Youth Skill Competition of Guangxi, and gained the 6^th place as a team in the Zhenxing Cup National Youth Skill Competition.  

Chen Qin

Chen Qin, the engineer and director of information center of Yuchai Heavy Industry, is responsible for the application, implementation and maintenance of software and hardware of all computers of the company. According to the requirements of the company, he developed the work hour counting and filing systems, optimized and implemented the ERP, PDM, salary management, SAP and other systems in order to promote the information building of the company. He won the 2^nd place in the programming contest of the 2^nd Youth Skill Competition of Guangxi, and gained the 12^th place in the Zhenxing Cup National Youth Skill Competition  

As Yuchai is committed to building a creative labor force in recent years, a large number of model units and individuals have emerged from every front line. Based on their job, they work hard to learn new knowledge and skills to improve their ability.
