The promotion was co-organized by Yuchai Heavy Industry and Guangzhou Luxiangtong Company the largest distributor of Yuchai in Guangdong and Hainan area and was held in Guangzhou on March 31 with the purpose to thank customers of Yuchai excavators.  

The promotion started with rock music and exciting dancing, followed by comedy, singing and dancing, piano playing and other activities. The lively and colorful performances attracted huge crowds of people to the gate of Guangdong office of Yuchai Heavy Industry where the promotion took place.

The most important activity was the big prize 3 microbuses for the Spring Thunder promotion. Anyone who buys excavators produced by Yuchai from Feb. 18 is entitled to the draw in the nationwide Spring Thunder promotions. They have a chance to get a microbus. said vice general manager of Yuchai Heavy Industry Bian Dejun. The prize is established not only to promote the products but also to thank customers for their support.   

One excited winner talked about his relationship with excavators of Yuchai Heavy Industry, saying that he already got 4 Yuchai excavators and would like to buy larger Yuchai excavators to develop his business. Another customer intending to buy excavator sometime later could not refuse the lure of the microbuses. I want to buy one some time or another, so why not take this opportunity to win the prize? he said after paying 10, 000 Yuan as deposit on scene.   

Yuchai Heavy Industry has already held the Spring Thunder lottery promotions in Zhaoqing, Huizhou and other cities of Guangdong and Hainan area since March. Thirteen microbuses have been given to winners through the draw. Thanks to the boost of the promotion, the sales result in that area overtook other markets across the country with a sales volume of 130 excavators in March, accounting for 12.9% of domestic sales.
