Huashan dumpcarts assembled with Yuchai engines attract  dealers

April 5th, a warm beautiful spring day, Baoji Huashan Engineering Vehicle Co., Ltd. held the 2009 new products release conference at the so called western silicon valley -- Mianyang city, Sichuan province. Mianyang was severely hit by the devastating Wenchuan earthquake last year and Beichuan , one of its counties,  suffered most damage from the disaster. Because the projected 3-year reconstruction of Beichuan is expected to create huge demand for engineering vehicles, currently, a large number of auto makers target Mianyang market and hold a variety of promotions as the post-disaster reconstruction and the activity of vehicles go to countryside are under way. Following the promotion show of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, Baoji Huashan sent its new products to this essential market.

Crowds of local auto dealers and users were attracted to the promotion and representatives from Yuchai, Weichai, Dachai and Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group respectively used the occasion to promote their own products. A total of 10 models of new vehicles including 7 series of medium and light duty construction dumpcarts assembled with Yuchai 4E, 4D, 6J or other engines were displayed at the conference. They attracted the attention of users and dealers as numerous visitors gather to the showcase. The feedbacks of dealers and users showed that the dumpcart assembled with Yuchai engines were more favorable among customers by its distinctive cost-effective ratio. Distributors of Shaanxi Automobile Group told reporter that over 40 Huashan dumpcarts assembled with Yuchai engines were sold in March. Their target for April is 100. Since the reconstruction projects are being carried out in mountainous counties of Mianyang, users have to take the local terrain into account when they buy vehicles. The medium and light duty construction vehicles are more suitable in these areas and their costs are more favorable to low- and middle- end customers.
