Li Tiansheng speaks at the conference

Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. held the Process Optimization Conference in Yuchai Dongli Tower in the afternoon of March 30. Members of the Leaders Panel of Process Optimization, leaders of every department, as well as coordinators responsible for the project in every department attended the conference.

Li Tiansheng made the overall speech at the conference. He stressed the background of the process optimization, the changes in the accountability mechanism and the exposure of hidden deficiency in management after the implementation of all-round budget management. He made three requirements for these problems. They were: 1. Leaders of every department should pay high attention to the process optimization and take the charge of the work. They should study and analyze the suggestions and advice from related departments to improve the process. The company will rate their accountability and management ability according to the process optimization. 2. All departments should share information and advices with leaders to help them carry out the optimization work and keep a close connection with the Corporate Administration Department; 3. The Corporate Administration Department should follow up the optimization work and analyze the method of implementation, so that they can provide more guidance to every department. In addition, they should sort out the relevant processes according to their scopes and scale for further actions. Li Tiansheng pointed out that the Corporate Administration Department should take the responsibility to inspect and supervise the process optimization of every department to push the work forwards as scheduled.

The conference was hosted by Party secretary of Yuchai machinery Co. , Ltd. Liang Ping. With an emphasis on the significance of the process optimization work, she said that the Group and Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. both raised the general approach of to understand the crisis; grow internal strength; improve products; grab the market and maintain strength. Being one of the key works to grow internal strength of 2009, the goals of process optimization is to clarify accountability, streamline operation, enhance decision efficiency, reduce managerial cost and guarantee the solid development of Yuchai, she added.    

Wu Nan, vice manager of the Corporate Administration Department, detailed the principles of process optimization and its timetable. He laid out 6 principles for optimization. They are: principle of territoriality accountability, the principle of customer-oriented, value-added principle, principle of compliance to standards and law, principle of rational authorization, principle of systematic process optimization.
