Recently, Yuchai was titled the Model Unit of Information Work of Party committees system of Yulin City . Of the 30 winners of the title, Yuchai was the only one from business enterprises.  

Information is an important tool for CCP committees of all levels as it connects to the local, supports the center work and serves the decision making. In 2008, by firmly sticking to the Scientific Development with a focus on the needs of central work and decision making of Yulin CCP committee, Guangxi CCP committee and central CCP committee, Yuchai reported information regarding optimization of production and operation, independent innovation, management effectiveness and peoples life in an effective, timely and accurately way to high level CCP committees and governments for the implementation of the strategy of to grow Yuchai by strengthening Yuchai, maintaining and managing the overall situation.  

2009 is an eventful year for Yulin city and a critical year for Yuchai as it faces huge pressures and difficulties brought by the global financial crisis. In order to solve the issues hampering the progress of the company and move the 3-year plan and the 5-year plan forwards, Yuchai has to receive good decisions and policies from high level Party Committee and government. Therefore, the Party Committee of the Yuchai will improve the information reporting system, create new methods in information sending, achieve 3 shifts --from shallow to deep, from passive to active, from conventional to transcendental, cement the ties between departments of different levels, explore new information sources and channels, strengthen the pertinence and timeliness of the information work to further demonstrate the distinctive and achievements of Yuchai and gain more support from high level CCP committees and governments which helps push Yuchai onto the track of healthy and sound development.
