The Evening Party

A large Evening Party was held in Yuchai to celebrate the May 1^st Labors Day in the evening of April 29. Leaders of the company Zhang Jiasha, Liang Ping, Guo Deming, Rao Yingxian and Ning Xingyong, as well as employees and their family members watched the festival singing and dancing performances.  

A variety of greeting and service offering activities including visiting employees in difficulties and hospitalized employees, dinners with PhD teams and model workers symposiums were held in Yuchai to allow employees to feel the warm festive atmosphere and thoughtful concern of the company. It showed that Yuchai Group has been faithfully implementing the human-centered principle of the concept of Scientific Development.

Since the beginning of this year even with the financial crisis Yuchai has still received a huge increase of orders. The production and sales volumes of engines in the 1^st quarter hit a record high that created the so called Yuchai miracle. Taking advantage of the study of the concept of Scientific Development starting from the 2^nd quarter, Yuchai has been marching for another round of development. Currently, in order to move the study and practice of the concept of Scientific Development forwards, the company organized a test on the concept of Scientific Development with over 2,500 participants. During the May Day Evening Party, the company held a questionnaires draw of the concept of Scientific Development. Leaders attending the party presented the awards to winners of the draw.
