Yuchai was awarded 100,000 Yuan at the 2009 Guangxi Standardization Work Conference that was held on May 8. In accordance with the national strategy of to promote the role of enterprises in the standard revisions, Yuchai, the 2^nd undertaker of the revision of the national standard GB 2065.1-2006 the 1^st section of safety of reciprocating piston internal-combustion engine: compression engines was rewarded for its contributions in participating in the national standardization activities and the revision of national standards. 

In the speech at the conference, Yuchai CCP committee secretary Liang Ping said that Yuchai would continue to take part in the revision of the national and industrial standards. Based on the revision platform of two working groups (the working group of electronic-control of diesel engine and the working group of security and environmental protection) undertaken by Yuchai, Yuchai was trying to be the 1^st undertaker of the standard revision work, and to upgrade the standardization level, competitiveness of products to show and maintain the leading technological strength.  

Totally, 16 major revision projects of technological standards received awards at the conference.
