Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., was selected as the 2^nd group of "National Modern Enterprise" and received the certificate and trophy title from the Central Ideology Development and Guidance Committee recently. It was the second time that the company was given the honor.  

Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. was selected as the 1^st group of the "National Modern Enterprise" by the Central Ideology Development and Guidance Committee in 2005. The title is the highest honor for the modernization building of organizations across the country. Yuchai has worked hard on team-building, morale promotion, increasing the skills of workers, democracy building and environmental governance. It has pursued the title for the "National Modern Enterprise" step by step and promoted the healthy and speed development of the company. Since 2005, the company has achieved an annual growth of 2 billion Yuan. The production and sales of diesel engines in 2008 reached 550 thousand. Yuchai maintained the top position in the industry of China for 8 years in a row.  

The 2^nd group of "National Modern Enterprise" included 1,343 organizations. The Central Ideology Development and Guidance Committee concurred that the winners have outstanding performances in the modernization building, set up models and play their roles to promote the modernization work. Taking the honor as a new point, Yuchai is going to implement the Concept of Scientific Development and work hard to improve the building of modernization. It will contribute to the building of well-off society of China and score new achievements for the course of Chinese socialism with Chinese character.
