The Meeting of the Activity Scheduling for the 2009 Energy Saving Promotion Week with the theme of promoting energy-saving products and stimulating the consumption was held at Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. in the afternoon of June 3. Leaders from Yuchai Labor Union, the Execution Department of CCP committee, Communist Youth League and organizations in charge of the energy control at Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd attended the meeting.    

The meeting required that all staff take part in the building of resource conservation and environment-friendly society. It is the requirements of the National Energy Saving Promotion Week starting from June 1420. The Energy Saving Promotion Week was kicked off at the same time as the meeting started.

Head of the Energy Office of the Production Department Li Jianping read the notes and the requirements for the schedule of the 2009 Energy Saving Promotion Week. The companys plan for the activities of the Week was revised at the meeting. The key issues of the plan are: promote the energy saving products including energy efficient lighting products, air-conditioning, motors and automobiles, and direct the public to rational and green consumptions; advance the all participation campaign to save energy and let people to experience energy shortage; advocate the energy saving driving concept and good driving habits and take an active role in moving people to save energy and cut emission. Valuable suggestions regards to the planning of the activities were made by attendants at the meeting.   

Vice manager of the production department of Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. Li Yong stressed that besides waging a publicity campaign, all departments should learn from each others, exchange the achievements in energy saving and promote the effective energy saving methods and technology.
