Yuchai Machinery Group joined hands with Guangzhou Automobile Group

Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. formally concluded a strategic cooperation framework agreement at the signing ceremony of investment cooperative projects. The ceremony was held at the 5^th Pan Pearl River Delta Regional Economic and Trade Fair & the Signing Ceremony of Projects at Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center at 8 oclock on June 10. Leaders from the 9+ 2 (9 provinces neighboring the Pearl River Delta plus Hong Kong and Macao ) attended the event.  

Under the agreement, both sides will comprehensively cooperate on the automotive power assembly and components, independent technical innovations on passenger vehicle engines, hybrid and gas engines and other new energy technologies. They will deeply cooperate on light-duty commercial vehicles. They will test the feasibility of the development of mid- and heavy-duty engines and promote the cooperation of mid- and heavy-duty engine for commercial vehicle. They will optimize, subdivide and jointly boost the cooperation in existing products. They will collectively make planning and develop new products, and share the result, channels, network and information. It is expected to make their cooperative trading reach 2 billion Yuan in the next 5 years.

As the largest internal-combustion engine manufacturer, Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. has leading edge technologies and innovative capacity of diesel engines in China. It can produce all series of diesel engines from 1.2 to 16L that cover a power range between 55 to 441KW. Its engine is the top choice for domestic transport enterprises.  

Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC) is a large scale state-owned corporation group. Its main businesses cover the whole design and manufacturing of vehicle and parts, sales, auto logistics, finance, auto insurance and the related services. GAC is an auto company with the independent and integrated chain of manufacturing, supply, sales and R&D system. Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. have shared a solid cooperation foundation for past over 20 years. Taking the opportunity of the Pan Pearl River Delta Regional Economic and Trade Fair, they signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement to build a win-win strategic partnership, strengthen the cooperation on the passenger cars and commercial vehicles, upgrade the technological innovation and market development capability. The purpose is to build a powerful alliance. It will have huge benefit on both parties and the development of Guangdong province and Guangxi region.
