Yan Ping speaks at the forum

The 1st Dalian ( China ) Economic Forum themed with to push the transform amid the financial crisis was opened in Dalian city, Northeast Chinas Liaoning Province , on May 15. It was co-organized by < China Business> and Dalian Research Association for Corporate Development. About 300 attendants of the forum including chief economist of the National Bureau of Statistics Yao Jingyuan, Dalian Mayor Xia Deren, Vice Mayor of Dalian Qu Xiaofei and chairman of Dalian Wanda Group Co., Ltd Wang Jianlin had thoroughly discussion during the forum . Yan Ping, chairman of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co., Ltd, was invited as one of the keynote speakers to give a speech on taking precautions and being composed the business path under the financial crisis.

The financial crisis has taken a big hit to the global economy. It affected every industry and led to a great slump of the overall market, Yan Ping said. He added that although a large number of enterprises had been dragged into desperation, we know the crisis always contains opportunity. As long as enterprises can take full advantage of the market, make improvements and reforms with strength, they are bound to survive the predicament and turn the crisis into opportunity. He said: Yuchai was not panic in the face of the depression. It has done the following: improve the corporate culture, increase internal strength, increase external influence and innovations. The financial crisis still looms over Chinese economy and it could not be relieved by one company. Yuchai was willing to join hands with peers in the industry to work hard for the rejuvenation of the national industry.    

Yan Ping, the deputy head of the Finance and Securities Research Institute under Peoples University of China Mei Jun, and senior analyst of Anbang Group He Jun had a warm discussion on the crisis: a new starting point of the next 3 decades prosperity in the afternoon of May 15. The inspiring speech of Yan Ping received warm applauses from all distinguished guests.
